Bachelor of Science in Medical Physics

Program Description

The Bachelor of Medical Physics program at Alnoor University is a specialized academic program aimed at preparing scientific professionals who possess the knowledge and skills required to apply the principles of physics in medical fields, contributing to the improvement of diagnostic and therapeutic services and ensuring radiation safety. The program focuses on integrating physical and medical sciences with modern technologies, while providing both theoretical and practical education based on scientific laboratories and hands-on training, thereby qualifying graduates to work in healthcare institutions, research centers, and both the public and private sectors.

Bachelor of Science in Medical Physics (B.Sc.)

  • Level six according to the Iraqi National Qualifications Framework (or its equivalent as per the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research).

Students are admitted in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the approved admission criteria, provided that they satisfy the admission requirements. 

Requirements for the Award of the Bachelor's Degree:

  • Completion of all required credit hours.
  • Successful completion of all courses.
  • Commitment to university regulations and instructions.
  • Completion of the field training requirements, if applicable.

Prior learning or coursework completed at recognized educational institutions may be credited in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Alnoor University.

Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Medical Physics

The program coordinator is responsible for supervising the implementation of the study plan, monitoring the achievement of learning outcomes, ensuring the quality of the program, developing curricula, coordinating between faculty members and students, and overseeing practical training in accordance with academic accreditation standards and the policies of Alnoor University.
